Now Africa

Now Africa is breaking with the constraints of the unicentricity of contemporary art and invites us to distance ourselves from its ontology, to move towards practices that go beyond the legitimization of exogenous structures, in order to once again challenge their limits. Here, it is a question of a conceptual framework of incarnation within which the creator becomes a mediator serving to channel the abundant energy coming from African contemporaneities. The challenge that Africa now poses in the face of the limits of outdated discourse finds an echo in the denunciation of this erroneous vision of an intellectual hegemony which claims to be the ideal of the 21st century.
